The key to understanding your artistic journey is to recognize when change is happening. Art practices are like any other discipline in that there is growth, change, mutation, rejection of certain trends, acceptance of other trends, the whole arc.

And so it took a bit of time to recognize how this was all unfolding in my own art practice. But now I see a series of choices ahead that will determine how things proceed from here. It’s part of the long, strange trip and this space will reflect that in the coming weeks.

It’s true that this space has been little more than a placeholder for some time, but in the days to come it seems clear that using this space more efficiently will be an important part of the work.

Sorry to sound so mysterious, but since at the time of this writing very few are reading this ANYWAY, I think in the past I’ve preferred to use this space as a kind of diary for important milestones. Going forward, the work itself could be getting a LOT more visible time.

It’s going to get a little weird around here.
