It really has become time to start putting work up here, offering it for sale, the full monty. It’s something I’ve resisted up to now for a variety of reasons including not really knowing how to swing in the online art selling ecosystem. But when you decide to simply do things your own way and never mind what everyone else is doing, the clouds seem to lift, the way becomes clear.

And that’s where things are…this site has been, up to now, one big hesitation mark before committing to the big gesture on a huge blank canvas. And it really is time for that to change now. If you’re reading this, thanks for hanging in so far!

The biggest updates from this end are basically geographic in nature; I moved from Chicago to North Dakota for a season, focusing on my technique and assembling some ideas for future work…but in August of 2019 I relocated back to Springfield, Illinois–my home town–and have opened an artist-run studio with two partners.

News on those developments is coming soon, but in the meantime, the wheels of progress are turning and new show ideas are being developed…
